Congratulations Gemma on your ARLA Propertymark Qualification

Bernards is proud to announce that Lettings Manager, Gemma Thomas has successfully passed her Propertymark Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management qualification. Her achievement, awarded by Propertymark Qualifications, the UK’s property specialist awarding organisation, is an industry recognised qualification that demonstrates that the holder successfully meets property industry requirements and standards. 

As part of her qualification, Gemma studied and took exams in health & safety, security, general law, legal aspects of letting and management, residential property letting practice and management practice. She showed real commitment and dedication, especially as this was in addition to her working full-time in our busy lettings department.  

Gemma said, “ I embarked on this formal qualification as I really wanted to extend my knowledge in all areas of lettings and property management to ensure I provide the best possible advice and service to our landlords and tenants. Legislation and the law is constantly changing so I felt it was really important for me to be fully up to date with all the latest rules, issues and trends in the property lettings and management world. I’ll also be training continually to ensure I’m aware of any changes going forward.” 

Gemma’s accolade means that Bernards is now an officially qualified ARLA Propertymark member. We will continue to follow its strict code of practice and adhere to this industry body’s high standards. Gemma is already a highly experienced and knowledgeable lettings professional, and her additional learning and skills will be a real asset to our valued tenants and landlords.
